Shisha at Festivals – great music, great shisha, great times.

Shisha at Festivals – great music, great shisha, great times.

There’s nothing better than sharing shisha with new and old friends, and if you’re heading off to a festival this summer, you’re going to find that a lot of them are now incorporating a shisha lounge into their line up. Shisha at festivals can make the event even more memorable, and if you’re new to the hookah, it’s a great way to find out what you like. Hookah pipe pro? Share the knowledge with other fans, and try something new. You can’t miss this opportunity. Here are some of our favourite festival events proudly featuring shisha this summer.
Shisha at festivals
Wonderfields in Devon took place at the start of July. It markets itself as a family festival which embraces the relaxed, alternative lifestyle. It wasn’t just musical acts which drew the crowds. People came for archery, dance yoga, and storytelling by the fire. A pop-up shisha lounge drew in the crowds, and as the scorching sun gave way to a spectacular sunset, it was an event not to be missed.
Beat Herder took place in Lancashire over a weekend this July, and the highlight for many visitors was the fine shisha on offer. The shisha tent was decorated with opulent cushions and rugs for an authentic environment, and even if you weren’t there for the pipe, there were plenty of cakes and coffees on offer as the acoustic music floated around the site.
Don’t worry if you think you’ve missed your chance to enjoy shisha at festivals though. The festival season is not over yet! Coming soon is Bestival, where you can hear old and new favourites play live, and you’ll find a shisha lounge on offer at Camp Bestival. A Moroccan style marquee will be home to a great chill out space for festival goers, and even better, it’ll be open until the early hours. Fifteen different shisha flavours will be on offer, and available to enjoy from genuine Egyptian hookah pipes. It takes place in Dorset from July 26th – 29th, so there’s still time to get your tickets.
Cornwall hosts Boardmasters from the 8-12th August, headlined by The Chemical Brothers, Catfish and the Bottlemen, and George Ezra. Grab your tent, and head for the Cornish coast to enjoy a fantastic selection of bands, and activities like beach running, acoustic campfire sessions, and local street food. For one of the most chilled out festivals, with a strong focus on surfing, skating, and of course, shisha.
We’re sure a bit of shisha at festivals will bring something new to your festival experience, and if you want to recreate it when you get home, we’d be pleased to supply you with all the equipment you need for that authentic experience. We can’t supply the bands, but we can supply the bundles you need to enjoy shisha at your convenience.
